Sculpting Soft Machines

​This project worked on the development of a novel class of soft actuator that replaced the traditional straight pneumatic channels with a porous foam. This allows more flexibility while designing the actuator geometry and negates the need for a standard soft robot mold. This project won first the place prize for contributions in soft robotics research. The paper for this work "Sculpting Soft Machines" was published in the Soft Robotics journal.
